Turbosmart BorgWarner EFR and Ford EcoBoost Kompact Plumb Back Recirculating BOV

The innovative Turbosmart Shortie Kompact Series blow off valves have been specifically designed to fit BorgWarner EFR turbos. They also fit the popular Ford Ecoboost OEM Turbochargers. Unlike the standard, plastic valves that use un-reinforced diaphragms and are known to crack under increased boost, the new BW / KKK / Ecoboost Kompact valves use O-Ring sealed piston which, coupled with their billet aluminium construction give them over 30PSI boost handling capability. Designed as a bolt-on replacement of the factory valve on all BorgWarner EFR, KKK and most Ecoboost turbos, the Kompact Shortie Plumb Back provides better boost response and greater boost handling capability.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Please thoroughly read and understand these instructions before commencing this installation. The thread on the cap for the vacuum source is AN#3. The standard swivel nipple can be changed to a AN#3 fitting if desired. The Kompact Plumb back is designed to be open at idle and does not require adjustment. The BOV is pre fitted with a swivel nipple. A straight nipple is also included which can be used if there are fitment issues with the swivel nipple. RECOMMENDATIONS Turbosmart recommends that your Blow off valve (BOV) is fitted by an appropriately qualified technician Turbosmart recommends that a boost gauge be permanently fitted to the vehicle
